Cutting baseboard around splayed (135°) bullnose corner-bead

In this video I show how to miter the cuts around a 135 degree angle bullnose corner-bead. This show what will happen when you use the 135 degree angle over using the 45 degree angle that you are supposed to use. I hope that this helps someone in my situation.

This is likely the simplest, yet most complete explanation to baseboarding obtuse angles I’ve seen on the interweb. Thanks a bunch!

Having to do inside corners that are bullnosed and was destroying my brain but this reminded me what I was doing wrong. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this! I was confused about my 130.8 degree corner....

I've gone through so much scrap material trying to figure this out. So simple! Thanks so much

For those trying to measure angles, I bought a inside/outside angle finder which really helps when the walls aren't all the same

I've been struggling with how to solve this issue for a while now and just couldn't figure it out. You just saved me! Thank you!

OMG! I have been looking forever for this solution. THANK YOU.
Perhaps a stupid question though; how do I accurately measure and cut the little middle piece? It's hard (and dangerous) to whittle down that little piece if it's too wide..

180 - 135 = 45
45/ 4 = 11.25
Always subtract the given angle from 180, then, divide by number of cuts.

How do you determine the width of the peices, namely that little center peice?

Very helpful video, it is simple and very understandable. How do you cut baseboard for the inside splayed (135 degree) corner as is formed in a Bay Window? Is it as simple as reversing the cut angle and using the same angle cuts? Do you have a video on that topic I can watch? Can you help me out here? Thank you in advance, I hope you see this request.

It worked but poorly explained. How did you come up with a 45 from a 135? That made no sense. I know it worked but I don't get it. Are you saying I ignore the 135° and just go off of a 45°. I still don't understand.

People's brains work differently. Why would you use the measurement of 135 if your just going to convert to a 45? If I understand correctly, the 135° makes no difference. All you are doing is taking a 3/4 corner and making it a quarter, and then reversing? I get that it works but I don't get how.

Omg this one was so much simpler. Sorry. I just wasn't getting it
