How to apply eye drops in a leopard gecko

Sometimes less is more. This is certainly the case when putting eye drops in the eyes of Leopard Geckos. Always approach them from behind otherwise they will close their eyes, keep handling to a minimum and try not to touch their face with the applicator which will again make them close their eyes. Medications and their application should be undertaken under the direct supervision of a suitably qualified vet.

So im struggling to have it stay in her eye?? I have a rescue with a bunch of scar tissue on her eyes and we are hoping the eye drops can help clear it but it seem to hit and just drip down her face 😭

So when I was looking at my gecko I put him up to the light ( I saw a glare of white stuff) and I saw that his eye looked clear and foggy and I looked at his eye up close and he shuts his right eye is. I don't know what I should do. it looks like an early sign of a eye infection😢 😢

Can I use refresh plus lubricant eye drops on my leopard gecko?

It'd be nice if mine didn't wriggle around violently and shut their eyes close when I try to apply the drops...😬

My leopard geckos eyes are stuck shut and they’ve gotten skinny but she’s about to shed AND I decided to put her into a humid hide for 20 minutes. I do apply eye drops on her and got her to eat one mealworm yesterday with her sibling dragon kinda interrupting but well see how well this goes.

I accidentally shot out like 10 drops worth into an eye is that ok? The bottle my eye drops are in is very strange and of course the gecko was squirming and stuff but I guess I got the job done
