I knew that you're supposed to pull down your lower eyelid, but nobody told me looking in a mirror would be more helpful than tilting my head back farther, or even that looking in a mirror would be possible without poking my eye with the dropper bottle, which I know can contaminate the bottle.

It's like they assume everyone knows how to do this. Am I the only kid who never had pink eye or something?

Like you don't even need to take any extra time to explain, just automatically include it in paperwork when you prescribe. Or in the instructions that come with it. There's so much useless text in the instructions but they don't explain how to actually use it. Mind boggling.
