Bottom denture not staying glued???

I explain why the glue always keeps coming loose on the bottom denture and how to quell the problem. It's more simple than we think and we tend to make things harder because we think are not supposed to be easy.

I know that this was many years ago but man did you just help me.
I have written on one of your posts before and I have had my dentures in for 1 week now and they were very tight. Well, today I went back to have them adjusted and it feels like she took way to much off. Where they were snug (probably too snug) they now feel like they are too lose. I just realised by watching your video that it's kind of normal. She told me not to worry about a glue but screw that. I got some today and I'll be using it first thing in the morning.
Thanks again.

Glad I came across your channel. You gave me great pointers and insights on the entire process of extractions and dentures. I go in tomorrow morning for the try-ins, hopefully everything is correct and I’ll get my top denture and bottom partial back in 3 weeks. It’s been a couple months from the day I got all but my lower front 7 teeth pulled and it’s been a lot of ups and downs but I will gladly do it again being that my teeth would hurt for literally 3-4 months continuously then stopped for a couple weeks then right back to the worst kind of pain, wow. It was a lot of infection and just a mess. Anyway, thank you for the tips and tricks and insights. Hope you are still having great success with your dentures.

I know this is one of your older videos, but so relevant in my process right now. It really helped because after having a bunch of bone spurs removed last week, they stopped fitting again. Also top stays glued fine but the bottom was doing this exact thing. Thanks again!

Hi Bill. Hope all is well with you. Just as a quick reminder, I had my 12 remaining teeth in the front, top and bottom extracted 9-7-16. It's only been about the past 7-10 days that I have tried to keep both dentures in at night and about 8 hours a day-which is progress for me. Here's is the issue, my gums over the extraction sites I think look much improved but I am not sure I am ready to glue over the top of those sites yet, hence only about half of each denture is glued down. I've tried applying glue in a "ribbon" and also as a light film all over (half) my dentures, The ribbon method is perhaps a little better but neither one is giving me the kind of security I want. Here is what I really want your opinion on-I am trying to learn to chew but it takes very little chewing to unseat the lower denture and cause it to start flopping all over the place. Is it time for a soft reline ?

First time I've seen the new intro. I love it! It has jazziness and humor--perfect fit for you!

I started using FIXODENT PLUS about 3 weeks ago..OH MAN DOES THIS STUFF EVER WORK GOOD..I sleep with my top dentures in overnight, and in the morning when I want to remove them to let them soak/ clean in Polident while I in the shower and making myself presentable for the day :-) the top denture is still so well secure that getting it out is a bit hard.. Very happy with FIXODENT PLUS at the moment.

I knew if I went to your video's I would find help. I've had my dentures going on 3 months. The lower broke me down today. I went into the dental office about a month ago for this same issue (can't eat without the blasted thing coming lose even if I've reglued it). They adjusted my bite but no relign. So I have an appointment for them to check it out again. I'm so frustrated I just cried today. I have to eat! I'm going to watch your biting video and hoping it will help. It's not the biting though I don't think, it's the chewing. Anyway, thanks for making these helpful video's. I've lost 15 pounds and I don't need to lose weight and I love food. Aaaaargh. 😭

I went into the dentist office on Thursday, and they did a soft realign, and they are staying in much better. Maybe tell the viewers that are constantly fixing their teeth, the to go see the dentist and get a soft or hard realign. It works wonders. ;)

Bill, I've been reading and watching denture videos and I'm wondering if there is some recommended time frame after extractions to wait before going back to the dentist for adjustments, for example a soft reline, etc. Also could you explain a general overall time frame until you have reached the "final stage" ? Thanks.

I like your little wood stove, what's the name & where did you purchase it?

Hi Bill, I know you are a true believer in densurefit...However, It did not work for me..I was wondering if you have tried the secure denture cream and if so how did you like it?

I can tell you are a camper or RV dweller. Not to many stick and brick people know about that stove.
They are dynamite or woodamite!
Do you run the park?
Thanks for the FYI on dentures. I am considering them and also van dwelling full time.
These are all being taken under consideration at this time. I would be taking my dog with me, too.
