I got my dentures 2 months agoo and have been having so much trouble with the bottom denture. I see the dentist once a week she has filed certain part of top and bottom for comfort but tells me nothing she can do about the teeter totter of movement of the bottom denture. I bought the POWDER! I stumbled on this by chance. Hold all day. Eat two or three times still hold. And the best part is it makes the paste easy to remove.

I'll give this a try. Have hade full dentures for about a month now. Tops fit great, no problems. Bottom come loose after the first bite of the softest foods. Been playing with different brands and still not there yet. My dad had full dentures and never used anything to secure them. He could eat steak all day with no problems. Never thought about it until I got mine, now I wonder how the heck he pulled it off.

I have a full plate on top and a partial on the bottom.
I have been using both the powder and what I call goop for a few months now. The difference from what you do is I dot the goop on a very dry plate in 6 spots and the roof. Then I drag the dots towards the center (roof). When that’s done I give it a quick rinse in cold water then lay on a generous coat of the powder. Eh, sometimes it works super well and others it’s maddening. If I hadn’t just ordered a new vehicle, I would be considering implants. Priorities, LOL.

What do you mean you look awful? Hardly. Thank you for a great tip. My bottom denture fits very well but it’s had a mind of its own for the last couple of weeks. I’m looking forward to trying this tomorrow morning. Maybe it’s what I’ve been looking for. So thank you Michelle for this great tip.

You look GREAT, and thanks for the tip on lower denture retention; I'll give it a shot. Right now, I'm experimenting with Secure adhesive. I'm applying it right out of the tube and So far, I'm getting about 6 hours. Used it on my upper a couple days ago and they are still in. I'm tempted to get some snap-ins for my lower, BUT $8, 000 ; OUCH!
