Hi Wayton, I just wanted to tell you that two months ago I was sitting at silver 2. No matter how hard I tried I just could not rank up and it was getting really frustrating. Then I watched this video and my entire perspective of the game changed. I really took these tips to heart, and approached the game with a fresh mindset.

I now do 15 minutes of free play every time I start, even if all I want to do is smash the ball as hard as I can lol. Then a few casual matches, then ranked as you suggested. Today, two months after being stuck at silver 2, I'm now in plat 1 div 3. So I just wanted to thank you for showing me there is hope! Haha.

The other day I even solo queued a 2v2 gold tournament and won! First tourney win ever!

Tl;dr - make an honest effort to follow these tips and you'll see the results!

I started yesterday and immediately remapped all of my controls to what probably sounds crazy to most people. I effectively have it set up like an RC car/plane now and it feels SO much better.

Left stick - pitch & yaw
Right stick - throttle & roll
ZL - jump
ZR - boost
R - powerslide

Not having to use my thumb for a bunch of actions, not having to hold ZL to rotate in the air, and having proper 6 DoF controls is SOOOO much more intuitive to me.
