Be sure to have a 3/16 drill bit and for me I had to make the hole bigger to fit the little clear plastic plug. If you won't, the plug WILL shatter when you try to tap it in.

LAST HINT: I put a little dab of sealer/caulking around the holes on the house, just to weatherize the freshly drilled holes.

You can skip the templates (which in my case weren't accurate at all) by inserting the hardware into the back of each number then use a rubber mallot to gently tap the numbers where you want them leaving a mark where the actual screws are, then drill holes there. Just use a level and tape off the appropriate edge and dividing spaces first.

Don’t the screws have to be screwed into the wall or do they just slip inside the anchor? I don’t understand how the screws are mounted. Are they really just pounded in to the wall?

The instructions say to use a 1/4” drill bit, if you are using the anchors.

Use a 7/32nds drill bit. Use a rubber hammer (not your hat) and hopefully you'll have better luck than I did with the standoff barrels which did NOT neatly slide over the mounting screws!! (ID was too small!) Great numbers but crappy hardware and instructions HY-KO!
