Asked about the poisoning of Sergei Skripal in Britain, the newly re-elected Russian president said he only found out about the incident through the media and it would be nonsense to think Russia would launch such an attack in the run-up to an election

For sane people ofc it is nonsense, but for brits it is "highly likely", even when there are *0* evidence.

Putin denies - has to be truth. That's the basic formula.

Our comrades in Russia are starting to worry now. It’s hard not to get caught in your own lie.

So odd Putin mentioned that as several other ppl & I also thought the same: that the poisoning situation happening b4 the Russian election wouldn't make sense as Putin really wanted in4 the 4th term.

However, the odd part is how Putin got super high "vote" %. It does NOR make sense, R least 2me, how the other 7 that ran4 elections had such tiny vote %. 😶
