Putin takes out his earpiece when answering questions. He lets the interviewer know that interrupting him would be futile.

He respects and knows President Trump is a man he can deal with, but not push around. He respects strength. As do all real Men .

I'm sure that in Russia, and in Russian, there is a difference between saying someone has a bright mind vs. a bright personality. The job here -- for both Fareed and Putin -- was to properly translate and clarify what Putin actually said (and now believes) about Trump. Perhaps there is more to this discussion than what we see here.

I believe both Putin and Trump have respect for each other. Nothing less and both more. You can dislike someone but still have respect. I wish we all could just get along and do the best for our countries.

Once a KGB officer, always a KGB officer.

“There is no such thing as a former KGB man.” Vladimir Putin

Russian is a very diffiucult language to translate in general and it is almost impossible to do this on the fly. Even this girl did not translate what Putin said properly. In this case Putin said "яркая личность", which does not mean "bright" at all. It means a "colorful personality". Western media are really bad at translating Russian language. It resembles more the game "broken telephone" .

Asking the question that backfired to him because that was stupid asking someone to explain why he said that.

Putin basically said,
"Are you questioning my authority?".

When Putin first looked at the camera, I apologized.

I love how he fakes his language base trying to make us believe that he doesn’t speak English. This guy has been all over the world as a kgb agent.

Putin is 100% correct on this one. He said Trump was "yarkiy" which actually translates as "hard not to notice, " Putin was commenting on how colorful a character Trump was when he called him yarkiy. All Fareed Zakaria could say was "my interfax translation said brilliant."

Even as KJB trained to withhold emotions. Putin was holding back tears of laughter. That was class! Bright and intelligent 😂😃😀😂 that was amazing! Well done to the interviewer 😂🙂😂😂

"Sorry, Mr. President. I used the CNN translation. It always differs from what's really been said."

Holy cow that interviewer's face went from brown to cherry red when Putin gave him the look.

The problem most people today have is that they’d rather focus on the negative aspect of people rather than the good and using that perspective to encourage their neighbor. Props to Putin for defending his comment plus questioning the journalists intent.

Why you didn’t put some subtitles on this video? I need to know what are they talking about…
