Hello, nothing is shown on the LCD display (16x2) for me either. Address is correct, display is OK. With another Sketch Component Tester it shows me everything.
I also wanted to test your work, unfortunately I can't get it to work with a display.
Your sketch works perfectly in the serial monitor.
I hope you help us with this.

Fantastic version of this very popular tester. Is it possible to build the project using the same 2 x 16 LCD but without the adaptor PCB that you show in the video (there is no mention of the adaptor board - what exactly is it, there doesn't appear to be a parts list beyond the obvious Nano and LCD?). Helloo thank you very much for the project... It's so amazingly helpful. I have a small difficulty. I am using a 20x4 LCD with I2C. But it doesn't display anything. But i have an output on the serial monitor. What can be the problem please. I connected SCL to A5 and SDA to A4.
