I praise glycolic acid. That is the one thing that completely changed my skin from dull, dry, flaky, it looked cracked, and it felt so tight to, now, (still) dry if I don’t keep on top of my skincare, but as long as I do it is glowy, smooth, so youthful looking. I look younger now at 33 than I did at 27 and I know it’s due to glycolic acid because that was the only thing I changed until rather recent.

That’s funny that she made a video interrupting the other girl about to explain how to fix it 😂

I thought we were still talking about croissants. When you asked "how do we smooth it out" i proudly yelled BUTTER! 🤣

I have seborrheic dermatitis on my face. I found a pyrithione zinc castile face wash thats amazing. I use a very mild moisturizer and seal with vaseline. I do this every two or three days and wash with a moisturizing cleanser for balance. I also switched to Vaseline as a primer for when my skin is cooperating enough to wear makeup.

Glycolic acid was the main product that helped improve my 'adult acne' a few years back & it truly helps my oily, but dry nose per the picture!

Having a humidifier in my room during cold months also helped a lot

I don't wear makeup for thus exact reason. My skin is so flaky and I cannot get it to budge. Particularly on my nose. Would love to see a full video on this.

Pls talk about fungal acne!! It feels impossible to get anywhere because so many products and ingredients aggravate my fungal acne

I had the most gorgeous skin before I developed facial Seborrheic dermatitis in 1987! It has been hard to clear and totally get rid of, but I control it with tetracyclines, Rosadyn capsules and washing with Salicylic acid washes!

Hello 😊 I have seen your daily routine videos, but I wonder if you would be willing to make a weekly routine video. I get a little turned around when I don’t know where to fit products in on a weekly basis. Thank you! 😊

I had a doctor tell me to use head and shoulders on my face and it made SUCH a difference. Hopefully that's good advice lol. I use the mint adnd it makes my face feel nice and cool and refreshed.

I think my foundation looks flaky due to my retinol. Every time I use retinol products my skin peels and I get these tiny flaky skins everywhere. I wouldn’t see it until I put make up on!

And when I use any exfoliants, my skin gets irritated! 😩

Dr please please do a video to talk about seborrheic dermatitis! I have been suffering from it for so long and only just got a diagnosis in the last year or so. I really would love to learn how to keep it under control. So please do educate us. Thank you!

How do you tell the difference between dry skin or seborrheic dermatitis?

Glycolic acid is the biz. Olay used to have a very mild scrub in the Regenerist line, and, paired with its overnight pore corrector cream, it made both hellish, flaky winter skin or sweaty, rashy summer skin so much better by the next day. Can’t believe they discontinued those products. They were so accessible and really worked.

Dr Shireen!! If it is seborrheic dermatitis, what can we use?

Would a lactic acid serum work? Glycolic acid is too aggressive for my skin.

Girl I was prescribed prescription grade retinoids on top of accutane. I’ve made my peace with dry flakey skin and cakey makeup
