27" at 1080p its perfect for me, wish i'd have a 1440p but that would need a better gpu

24 1080 is 92DPI
27 1440 is 109DPI
32 2160 is 138DPI

So not close at all. You won't see individual pixels unless you stick your nose to the screen. And you may want to increase your distance to save your eyesight. The bigger the better. Standard is 32 inch now, but I think they will get even bigger, because unlike phones, they don't need to fit in your pocket.

The MSI MAG 321UP is a steal at $769. For that price, you get a 4K 32-inch 165Hz 3rd gen QD OLED panel. It has all the amazing benefits of other QD OLEDs, such as deep blacks, superb contrast, brilliant HDR, super low response times, amazing colour gamut, perfect viewing angles, etc., but it is significantly cheaper than other QD OLEDs because of the lower 165Hz refresh rate, which is plenty for me. This is the best 4K OLED monitor for gamers on the market, in my opinion. A glossy screen also looks substantially better than a matte screen if you can manage to control the lighting properly in the room. Everything is just way clearer. The colours are more vivid and vibrant, with better contrast and deeper blacks. If you primarily game at night with the lights off, a glossy screen is way better.

4K 32" is pretty much the ideal setup for me these days; tried going 34" ultrawide for a while, but lackluster compatibility with games and having to turn my head too much during general usage just made it cumbersome more than anything else.

by the way, another great option for those who don't have the bucks for OLED (or just don't want to risk burn in/text clarity issues) is Neo G7 from Samsung - it has none of the black smearing issues like typical VA while providing excellent contrast and deep blacks for true HDR experience.

❤ 1440p, the new sweet spot.
I like this kind of quick review to get started & down the rabbit hole 😆 Currently have 27 Curved VA (aka low budget OLED simulation 🤣 kind of, incomparable) and 27 IPS both MSI. They give different experiences.

Emersive curved & darker black VA vs. Flat, vibrant, color accuracy, and Higher refresh rate, in general.

Will the GIGABYTE M27Q use the freesync premium technology if I have a gygabite rtx 4070super?

Thanks for your time!

Hi! I liked your videos. This vid is also interesting

I was thinking about buying a monitor and was leaning towards a 1440p 27 inch monitor, but later I realized that most video content like movies or just YouTube videos are good to be viewed in full hd resolution. Will the 1080p videos look blurry on 2k monitors then?

Because DLSS and DLAA and other upscaling techniques I'd go as far as to say the more pixels the merrier.

But I wouldn't dish out 1200$ on an OLED just to be gutshot if I see any kind of burn in, so I'll keep my 1440p VA panel for a while, or I'll consider VR.

Also 16:10 is really nice for gaming and for any other use case save for movies. It's called golden ratio for a reason.

Hi, I am looking for a 32 inch monitor for work and gaming . To be honest I have seen the Dell G3223Q . I have noticed that you haven't recommend any Dell monitors. Is there a reason we should avoid them?

Hi iVadim, Im considering a 1440p 27inch miniled from Aoc and the Msi 323upf. I like how immersive the 32inch screen is, but the miniled has way better colour and hdr. Is it better to go 4k 32" or to have better colour and hdr. The gpu Im getting is nvidia 4070 ti super, I mainly ply 3a titles, and competitive games occasionally. May I know which one should I go for?

what about VA panels? I know IPS has better response times but VA has better contrast. I want to also watch movies on my monitor and I would prefer to have more accurate blacks than gray. The arguments against VA seemed to be ghosting and viewing angles but those don't really bother me. IPS having glow and backlight bleeding are more bothersome for me.
