What's your choice? Air suspension, lowering springs, or coilovers? COMMENT BELOW!

I watch a lot of y'all's videos, but I often come away feeling like I don't know more than I already did. This video told me the super basic differences between the three suspension types and that "the entry level set is probably good unless you plan on going to a track, then maybe not?" Like when it comes to coilovers, is it really as simple as "if you aren't literally tuning a race car, just buy the entry level"?

I enjoy your content and I use the gallery a LOT so thank you for what you do. Just wanting to actually learn lol.

When Gels started talking about the rear sway bar end links, I felt that on an emotional level… Was working solo on installing coils for my 2015 Mazda 3 and of course because I live in Ontario, Canada and the previous owner decided to not rustproof the underbody, I had to call my buddy for a tow to his shop so we could cut the end links off to replace them only to find out that because we were still in lockdown (all this happened in April 2021) that ordering a new set would take an additional two weeks.

If you’re in an area that experiences any sort of winter elements, consider the following:

1. Rustproof the underbody (you’ll thank yourself later).
2. If you’re buying a used car in an area that has winter and plan on doing anything suspension or exhaust related, just assume you’re gonna have to get something cut (sometimes you get lucky, other times you don’t. I’ve owned an 8th Gen Si, 1st and 2nd Gen integra, and a 2nd and 3rd Gen Mazda3. I’ve had to cut something relating to the rear suspension every single damn time).
3. If you’re gonna get any sort of suspension system, just buy the bushings, end links, etc. and save yourself from a massive headache.

Also, Happy Bidoof Day to everyone.

Right!?!?! I replaced my girls lower control arm and my endlinks stripped out. I spent 12 hours trying to get this fixed on a Sunday night when we both have work the next day.

I had drop springs on my Evo 8, airbags on my Genesis sedan. Sold my Evo. 4 years after installing my airbags, theyre are still perfectly working. Just bought an 05 sti, and I'm leaning towards air bags again. It was super easy to install myself and I've only installed drop springs and coilovers once.

on most popular platforms u CAN choose Spring Rates, usually between different brands, with Lowering Springs... & i would highly recommend "Matching" ur components... sways, springs, shocks, coilovers, or whatever, should all Work Together ...always love yalls vids, but the fact that "u can, & should, know & choose ur spring rates" needed to be cleared up ...nothing handles worse, other than a worn out suspension, then one that is Mis-Matched
