But the difference with Age of Empires, is that AOE will be always in my heart. Only AOE just won that place!

Last month I visited a small medieval theme park in Australia, and they had some speakers playing ambient music throughout the day. At one point I stopped dead because I heard this track playing and burst out laughing. Age of Empires lives on! The musicians would have been so happy! ^^

This is the one song that stuck with me for all these years, occasionally invading my thoughts for no reason 2 decades later.
It doesn't help that it's the same 16 notes repeated with different instruments for most of the song :P
