I Had a golden, his name was Brodie. I had him since I was 4, and due to sickness and arthritis, we put him down in 2013. He kept getting skinnier and weaker :( I was there when we put him down, he gave me one last kiss right before he took his last breath. That's the most emotional memory I have. It's sad knowing I was the last face he saw, the last memory he had. Was with me, on my lap, with me stroking him. R.I.P Brodie James

Growing up we had a 1/2 black lab 1/2 golden retriever named shadow, i am convinced that is the best breed of dog to ever exist. he lived to be 15 years old, such a good boy.
