Nice! I very much ask you mate to create a similar course on the environment, only a location for example the USA. Suburb, skyscrapers in the distance. And necessarily roads, poles, traffic lights, etc. I will gladly buy such a course.

That's wonderful ! This class looks awesome and I love the settings ! But I have a question before I buy it. When we download this course, do we have the assets, textures and everything in the files, or do we only have the videos and it's up to us to reproduce everything like in this scene ? I ask because this is the first time that I am going to do this.

Thank you in advance for your response.
Cordially.

Will the Maya stuff translate well enough for anyone using blender?

Hi

I just switched from blender to Maya for better modelling and animation
I wanted ask you, how much fast is it to model in 3DS Max compared to Maya ?
Most Ubisoft artist are still using it and I heard its much better for modelling.

In reference to this course, would this be faster to make in Max ?

Course looks great but a few questions. I'm looking to learn modular modeling buildings, houses including roofs, doors, furniture and other props and interiors. I model in Maya but I'd like to know how to set everything up in Unreal from Maya and not just grid info but materials, collision and everything that comes with a project as such. I saw you have another course on gumroad about buildings and environment. In your opinion, would that one suit me better than this one when it comes to adapting the skills for more of what I'm looking to do? Thank you.

Looks really great! Are you showing how to use rgba masks for huge assets texturing?

I am curiouse why are you using a high to low poly workflow for an environment comprise of static meshes since use are using UE5? that's what nanite is for

Hi, I'm interested in this course but I would try to follow along in Blender. I also don't have Substance (I try to keep it low cost with Quixel). So I will not be able to make these textures. My question is, will you share your final textures so we can still use them in Unreal?

NICE! But Will you still use Blender to make tutorials in the future?

Hello, your course seems really really good although I have two questions. I am a 3ds Max user and in this course you're using Maya, should I follow through in 3ds Max or try learning Maya first and then do your course? The other question is, now that nanite can be used in all static meshes and even foliage, do you think some chapters in the course are outdated? I believe baking normals into low poly assets is not that necessary anymore, even if baking is really important. I'm not talking about removing baking from the course obviously, i'm talking about an update so you can show us the alternative method now that nanite can handle lots and lots of polygons. Thank you in advance. :)

Can we use downloaded procedural textures instead of making them in Substance Designer, what are pros and cons, since I hate substance designer more than anything?

Quick question : why retopoligize zbrush sculpts ?
Isn't the whole point of UE5 nanite to avoid that ?
They also used nanite geometry for a huge animated mech(there were no bone based deformations though)

Dude, this is exactly what I need cuz I have a hard time developing a short demoreel and this course caught my eye. I'm having an idea for buying this course but have a doubt. If you don't mind me asking everything in this course is modeled, textured, sculpted from scratch right? Because I have confidence in modelling but when it comes to texturing I feel so feared. After watching this video I have a bit of confidence because once I finish this course I'll have a base with everything and literally next steps are my hard work and effort that I put right. Can you answer this q if you don't mind.
Thank You.

Out of everything shown in the final scene, what do you actually make in the course? Do you make everything, or is some of it already finished? Or do you model and texture everything from scratch? Also, how much of the modelling is done in UE5? I won't be using UE5, but want to understand the workflow of modelling an environment.
