I read somewhere about Firelord Sozin who lived until 102 years old, and it said he lived that long problably from the comet, and Zuko also lived during the comet, so there is a good chance he is also living to 100 years old, plus there is the fact that is was in his late 80's, and is still able to fight, so Sozin's comet might also enhance other features rather than just firebending power
