That’s so realistic and fits his character. He never really cared about their names before. He didn’t see them as actual people. He just saw them as a way to get his honor back. But it’s also hilarious that they hide it so well. Honestly thank you for showing that to me haha

With that context the "zuko here" just really makes me feel sorry for him. He was introducing himself in the most considerable way he could imagine to make it as easy for the others to talk to him. He was really trying and that little detail just made me almost tear up
