Things must have changed, no bad thing of course..I agree with @deb, the narration is very good.. I visited in 1999 and back then, I can't help but say it was a basket case in every respect. Of having been a communist state for way too long with completely broken infrastructure. Fantastic opportunity for those among us who ever thought Communism was the answer to anything, to go there and check out what communism delivered to Kyrgyzstan...that said it has absolutely breathtaking scenery, no question, shame about everything else left behind by communism..
