Congrats to Landspace. It's remarkable how much SpaceX has changed the entire aerospace industry by being so aggressively innovative.

Thrilled about the new Orbital Launch Tower's water-based damage-supression system! Reusable, basically untested, but promising. Also interested in the lunar landing and launch versions ... which are at this point, a bit vague.

Yes, Luna only requires 1/6 G to launch, but that's a great big stainless steel tank, not a flimsy Apollo LM with skin like a n aluminum beer can!

I want to see the launch proposals for return to Earth from Luna and Mars, and I make a prediction: part of any Starship that is not intended to permanently live where it landed will include in its payload a blast diverter. It may just be a cone-shaped device, or a faceted cone to divert as much energy away from the landing feet as possible, but it will be an expensive piece of hardware to loft and will considerably reduce potential payload.

Of course, land one or two and a tractor in reasonably close proximity, and that's how you build infrastructure!

Did I miss the testing of the deluge system on this video?? That’s why I watched this video.

When SpaceX does a HB static test on the upgraded OLM, will they fire up just one or a few engines then inspect the OLM for any damage or changes. I would think gradual stages of testing would be wiser. Another failure would only add ammunition to the opposition and naysayers.

I wonder why SpaceX doesn't rotate the Starlink v2 satellites 90 degrees in the Starship so that the opening in the outer shell could be smaller and greater strength.

LMAO, But China still throws there Rockets Away. ✌️

Raptor V2 will deliver 2.7MN of thrust. Nice, but can't match the Saturn V's F-1 engines *6.77MN* of thrust.

Just want to inject some caution about calling 14 days one lunar day.
It is the daytime (dawn to dusk) part of a lunar day/night (dawn to dawn) cycle which is twice as long.

Can a Starship reach orbital velocity without Booster, if it is not carrying much? I guess it needs some fuel for landing, but in orbit refuelling could do that, just wondering if it has enough power and fuel to reach orbital velocity by itself, act like a SSTO?

PLEASE employ a human beign to read the script !! it's insulting to listen to a voice that has NO emotion or interest in the subject matter. Intonation leaves a LOT to be desired !!

Am I the only person that thinks the SpaceX water system is completely nuts? Complicated, lots of crazy plumbing on an enormous scale, large flows. It should provide a nice spectacle, but hardly an efficient use of resources. Also, I'd like to see some data about how the OLM shifted under its first launch. The foundation appears sketchy and most engineers agree it's better to put the pilings in place BEFORE the structure is built.
