My dad passed away about 5 years ago. He would have loved your channel. He grew up in the Depression and had learn how to fix things with whatever was available. He took pride in a grey 2wd Chevy that had some "weight reduction areas" that he "fixed" with grey duct tape and spray paint. He was also proud that the rims on the passenger side didn't match the rims on the driver side. He just liked driving his old pickup. Didn't care a bit about what anyone thought. He and my Mom grew up in North Dakota so I know all about "Uff-da", also! 😊

I replayed that 10 times... he's right, how many projects never start or finish just because someone can't afford to make it look or run like a car that's had 10's of thousands of dollars dumped into it. I know that's prevented me in the past every time, I didn't have the money so why start it?
