Stop, don't touch, run away, tell an adult.

That gun safety song we all learn in like 1st grade

I see nothing wrong with having a gun in your home for protection. But it needs to be locked in a safe or have a triggers lock on it. NEVER leave a gun where a child can get their hands on it. It's also a good idea to teach your child about the danger of guns. Sorry, it's just my belief.

i find this exact scenario to happen to be extremly unlikely, the cop should already know to put the gun somewhere safe like a safe

Ok, the stupidity in the parents is overwhelming, first of all, the wife isn't thinking straight. Just because robbers break into people's houses to steal doesn't mean that they won't probably have a weapon, so for her to protest having a gun when people are breaking into houses is outrageous. The father is so irresponsible for leaving his kids unattended with a gun in the house.

Gun lock and a gun safe is a must when you own a gun around young children .you can a child not play with a gun over and over again but some children don't listen.

As children, we learned the difference between toy guns and real guns, and we learned never to play with real guns, ever. I watched enough shows and movies as a child to know what guns can do to people, so even if I found a real gun, I was never gonna play with it. One thing you should teach kids is that you don't ever trust a gun. Even without the trigger being pulled, people can still get shot.

I get the message but this was badly written. All police officers know better. Leave your service weapon in your triple retention holster and in the closet locked up. And if you have other weapons have them locked in a gun cabinet and make sure that everyone is trained and understood on the guns.

Moral: Weapons are not toys. Always store them where kids can’t easily reach them.

This story was quite serious...I know it's script, but at the end, I'm glad that no one was hurt/killed since Jay was playing with his father's gun and missed shooting his dad. I'm glad that Jay and David learned lessons about guns. I'm especially glad that David listened to his wife at the end, it would've been totally different had it gotten worse.

This video really upset me greatly, so many horrible things could have occurred, he pointed the gun at himself, at his little brother and his dad and none of those scenarios had to occur if he would have just done as his wife asked and put the gun in the car. What was he going to say if that kid would have shot anyone, my bad 😣 I should have listened, there’s nothing that he would have ever been able to say in way of explanation to me. Ever. Period. Hard heads make soft…….

This was a good video!
For a police he wasn’t very smart. He really should have known better no to keep his gun loaded and someplace safe.
I think all police should leave there guns at work.

I disagree with this lesson since my step-dad has a gun somewhere in his and my mom's room.
I think the important thing is if you have a gun with children in the house always keep it somewhere they can't find it but also let them know you have one in case of an emergency so they don't accidently see it and think it's a toy.
Also it's a good thing to teach gun safety and to let them know you have the gun since when they get older if someone dose break in they can take immediate action if you are not around

2:03 he is a cop, and yet, he thinks it is smart to put his gun in his bedroom, on the top drawer, _loaded!_ Guess, he didn’t learn much at the *Police Academy!* Or, he went to the Police Academy from _Police Academy 1 [movie from 1984]_

6:56 *Sameer forgot to add, * after, “they all got to enjoy a Christmas together:”

“David and his wife stayed married and madly in love, _until they were 90!”_

*and/or:*

“the incident ended up bringing Jay and Eli a lot closer. And even though they are brothers, they ended up being the best of friends, _until they were 90!”_

*Or:*

“They all got to enjoy Christmas together, _until they were 90!”_
