Would love one.... But that ugly interior! I am honestly trying to watch as many videos as I can on this car to try to desensitise myself to it. I am hoping it grows on me to the point I can put up with it enough to buy one.

Boy they sure messed up the interior design. Whatever they were trying to do did not work. It won’t sell in the USA. Those extended speakers are the worse!

That interior is the worst that I've ever seen. It's like from a poorly designed US car from the 50ies.

There looked to be a rear panel hanging off, infotainment screen pale and uneven..functionality issue too.. they probably have to pay for infotainment IP or aspects. But remember the mantra of the their execs… “ get the cars out”. The movie ends with that back panel looking like the design to fix it, is just too hard now. If GM has the intellectual Property, BYD won’t get it. It’s a portent for the future. Yet the back panel is in our view, stays in our view, it’s there to see appearing to be hanging off.

Dont follow Buffet and invest in BYD, he is getting on now, and remember what Musk said when interviewed about BYD. He said their problem is at home, competing with and surviving in their own market place in China. I’ll say it again, watch out for an unsatisfactory infotainment system, high road noise, little insulation, harsh ride, rolling on curves and at roundabouts just like the MG, plasticy seats that are purportedly not anywhere near up to scratch.You can bank on all the plastics being sub standard, an equivalent to the lemon Hyundai Excel, a newcomer too, raced to the market place. Lets wait for Aussie auto engineers to give us the truth. We’ll then know a lot more. You can’t just update the IT systems by a portal to fix a melting plastics problem, or fix a noisy cabin, or an uncomfortably harsh ride, or when the insulation to quieten it just was makeshift with little or no R&D. Any yes Infotainment, you can bet London to a brick on that byd will handball all the problems to Nextport, oh dear, and then hope you dont have a problem if something goes to shite.
