Zootopia is a very family friendly movie by Disney, but did you know that the movie was originally going to have much darker themes, such as discrimination against and segregation of predators? This video looks at various pieces of concept art and behind the scenes videos to try and piece together what this Zootopia could've been like.

I admit, I'm curious about how things worked out in the darker version. We know from footage seen in "Imagining Zootopia" that Judy would stumble upon Wild Times and call for backup, but we don't know how Nick ends up at Judy's house. We *do* know that Judy's just as much of a misfit as the rest of the main characters -- she's an individualist from a species that does everything in groups of four or more. (She's the only one in her family with her own room, and her dad *still* can't remember which one she is...)

I feel as if the other version could be the events leading up the the final version but have Nicks dad as the protagonist. In this version Nick and Judy uncover a dark history in zoo topic before they were born. They uncover this as they seem to see a series of strange occurrences going on. Someone if making an attempt to bring back the collar. In the actual version of Zootopia, when Judy and Nick are on the lift Nick has a flash back, it shows as if the tensions between preds and pray were very, tense, almost as if the collars were banned for some mysterious reason. Almost like something bad had happened to someone or people, like how Nicks father was never in his life. If anyone is to give this small idea to a Disney producer, please give me the credit and yourself some for showing them.thnx
