After probing the X and Y, don't the zero icons for x and y on the screen need to be set?

Forgive the newbie question. Do you nees to probe XY and Z before every cut? Do you have to reprobe after changing bits mid-project?

If you don't touch off on the outer edge of the flutes, you are going to get an inaccurate XY reading... a 1/4" two flute bit does NOT have a constant diameter of 1/4"... Your method is flawed, sorry to say. I love the machine and am seriously considering getting one, I am not trying to bad mouth Onefinity AT ALL. This zeroing method will work for MOST operations but it is not extremely precise, especially if you are truly needing to find XY zero because you are going to add some element to the piece.
