In this video I go through the steps to install a third party touch probe on the the carbide 3D Shapeoko 3. A touch probe is a useful device for finding the x, y, and z zeros.

The original carbide 3D Shapeoko 3 touch probe is a bit expensive for my liking so I chose another option.

i went through the same issues when looking for a touch plate for my workbee, in the end i just milled my own . you could probable do the same with yours if you milled slow .

Hola, abrazos, felicidades por tu trabajo, desde Colombia un abrazo, tengo una CNC SHAPEOKO XL y estoy muy de acuerdo con ud. la sonda táctil Shapeoko es muy cara, mira te comento para mi que pago en $ Col es costosa y su envió que solamente lo hacen en FEDEX, cuesta US$ 68, es imposible mi compra con ellos, según tus indicaciones el sofware CARBIDE 3D, no deja modificar para adaptar una sonda tactil de terceros, necesito tu ayuda, dame tus indicaciones para mirar que sofware me sirve para hacer andar mi CNC y así me animo a comprar una Sonda en EBAY o AMAZON para poder agilizar mis trabajos, GRACIAS..
