Field installing the Pioneer OPS-30 touch probe on the Syil X7 with Syntec controller. If you didn’t order a probe with your machine you can easily install it yourself. In this video we show the steps on how to install the touch probe. We lost a bunch of footage so sorry about that. You still see everything you need to do the install.

Check out the new touch prob screens coming soon at the end of the video.

Another great video---- can't wait for 2 &3. I took the lead from you and have now installed the fantastic Syntec shortcuts. My machine is the same as yours - Syntec 22MA controller. I note that on system startup your controller shows a great picture of the X7 mill. Did that come as standard or did you upload a photo? Cheers

Hi, Great video!

I got mine from Syil today but they forgot to put in the installation guide for the Syntec.
That means I`m not sure which wires to use from receiver into the Syntec connections in the back.
I guess the Installation guide says which wires to use for which connections.
Do you have the configuration (since you have wired on the heavier wires on yours)?

Red = Red to +24V connection in the back (You connected two wires there)
Black = Black to 0v connection i the back
Shield and Ground (yellow/green) goes to ground in the connection in the back
Grey goes to?
Brown goes to?
White goes to?

I have a "PROBE" connection in the back, which wire goes there?
I have a "PROBE-EN" connection in the back, which wire goes there?

Wish you a nice day!

Just FYI, the links in the 'About' section of this youtuber's page leads to some suspicious / unintended websites
