I eat expired yogurt all the time.
It's totally fine. It has more tang but doesn't harm you.
Buttermilk lasts quite a while, too.

The thing about food is that our stomach acid will kill just about anything in food that has gone bad as long as its not completely rotten. If you're immunocompromised it could cause serious problems, but a normal healthy person will be fine. It will even build up your ability to eat a wide variety of foods without gastric distress, and can actually improve your gut microbiome.

I even had a health inspector tell me that as long as the green beans i was supposed to use were boiling for ten minutes then it would kill any bacteria and destroy any toxic compounds that the bacteria had produced, thus making them perfectly safe to eat.
