1-Establish a foundation by focusing on compound movements. Compound movements involve multiple muscle groups and are essential for building muscle.
2-Proper form is vital for muscle growth. Full range of motion is important for muscle growth and injury prevention.
3-Don't underestimate your rest days. Rest days are important for muscle recovery and growth.
4-Nutrition is just as important as training. Eating a healthy diet is essential for building muscle.
5-Building muscle and transforming your body takes time. Be patient and consistent with your training and nutrition.

I 100% agree with range of motion. I do full every time for practical reasons. I used to do half squats until one time I was in a real life situation where I needed to do a deeper squat (involved an unconscious person in an emergency) and I barely managed it and hurt myself doing it. It changed my thoughts on my fitness goals forever.

He's right. Just be consistent. I'm 73. I began lifting about 35 years ago because I wanted to complete a Century on my bicycle. One of the best decisions I ever could have made for my physical health and overall sense of well-being. Just learn these very important basics. Then be consistent. From time-to-time, life will interfere. Don't worry about it, just do what you can, and gradually work back to consistency. When you're as old as dirt like me, you'll be glad 🙂

10:18 | Exactly!, I was having that same problem, I was doing my workouts but I couldn't feel anything, like if my muscles were sleeping, no pain, no nothing, then I went a couple of weeks off and came back much stronger and feeling better.

Sometimes your body is just telling you to take a break, you just need to learn to listen to it.

Excellent advice…I messed up my right side a few months ago (it has gotten significantly better) because of my terrible range of motion on dumbbell flat chest pressing. I dropped the weight in half and I’m working my way back up with a full range of motion….so much better. Best not to snap your 💩🤣🤣.
