Funny take, but not true. Financial stability takes sacrifice, if that's what you mean. Yes, you gotta go without certain things that you may otherwise want to buy. But it isn't permanent. The nice thing about financial stability is that you don't really have to sacrifice much after you get there. Once you're stable, it's not hard to indulge in all the stuff you want with little worry. Of course, if you choose "happiness" in the first place, you'll always be scrambling for money, and constantly have the financial instability to worry about. Hard to imagine being happy with so many self-imposed problems to worry about constantly.
