Just fired up the Chevy after following this process—worked great! Minimal cost, fairly easy to install—could have used this idea years ago. Thanks Vincent, you really help with my heat soak problem.

That is brilliant! I haven't had time (or found) your 10 minute video on how you did this but I'll watch it when I can. You know so much about cars for a young guy. Awesome 62 Impala, my friend had one with a straight six. It was slow AF, and I mean slow but reliable as could be! It had power steering but you still had to turn steering wheel about 3x to make a 90 degree turn and it had a green "cold" light lol. The interior was hot too because muffler was under driver and it had no a/c.

Bravo! BEST idea ever… definitely gonna do this on my ‘68 F100… again, great job!!!

Thanks, Vincent, for showing the gas actually flowing while pump on. I, too, reworked the tank and no way wanted to drop it. I used copper line for direct under, and rubber fuel line on ends. Best!

When I was small, we had a 68 Impala that would vapor lock every mile or less. Nearly got hit a bunch of times. Horrible.

Gonna try this on my old truck im building. Ive read that the fuel returns too fast and starves the carb but i see you have no issues. Im running a mechanical pump as well
