A family friend accidentally had their Buck 110 thrown into a camp fire. When they finally got it out the wood had all burned off of it, but frame and blade were okay, just burnt. He reached out to Buck to see how much it would cost for them to repair the wood grain, they said they'd have to inspect it. He sent it to them and they sent him back his original knife, fully assembled, fully polished, sharpened and fully fixed free of charge. My 71 year old father has a Buck he carries daily that he's had since he was in his 20s. I have a buck I've had since I was 15 that is still in solid shape. This video proves there are def better knives out there...but Im not willing to trade for my Buck for any of them.

I have several of these brands including a Civivi. The Civivi has made its way into my pocket the most because it's just good at everything I need it to do, comfortable to use, slick to deploy, and tough enough for what I need it to be. Since I have been carrying it I have found tons of really great reviews on the company in general which matches my experience. My second-most carried knife is a Kershaw.
