If they were waiting for six months on software to dig deeper into Nauta's phone, then they don't have anything on him thats concrete. If the did, they certainly wouldn't have waited on this "software", they would take whatever they already have and run with it. That tells me their case is flimsy at best.

Judge Cannon should pray for Solomonic wisdom to decide on the deadline. I suggest to allow both parties work out a PERT-CPM to prove validity of their claims, itemizing necessary activities and time frame.

The courts will now be deciding our political candidates and not the state primaries. I suspect this judge, like many I've seen in recent political trials, will try to make a name for herself (I just don't trust the judiciary anymore). If the law was applied equally and on sound legal grounds, she should have summarily dismissed this case at the outset. But no, there has to be a dog, and pony show to justify the court's existence. A trained monkey would find this case is based on politics and not on law. If this trial continues, we can expect dozens of politically motivated trials in the near future. We are going to litigate ourselves into an armed civil war because of the frustration with our two-tiered justice system currently in action. When you realize you have no true legal standing, or there is a perception of a rigged legal system, the people will be left to repair or toss the system by any means necessary.
