A crucial vote is anticipated Jan. 31 on whether to call witnesses in the Trump impeachment trial, including former national security adviser John Bolton. In a manuscript of his new book, Bolton reportedly says that Trump directly tied the holdup of nearly $400 million in military assistance to Ukraine to investigations of the Bidens.

this is a total disgrace, the whole ending of this process without witnesses - I mean how do you preserve your accountability to the rest of the world that you made so financial and military dependent on the US.

Studying the impeachment hearings of both Nixon and Clinton, I don't see anyone taking any joy. No one smiling and posing for pics or giving out party favors (impeachment pens) etc. Like Pelosi and the Dems now. Says a lot.
