I started with TextExpander for text replacement stuff, and later switched to Typinator, which is less expensive with more features (e.g. replacement with regular expressions). Still, it's limited to text expansion, so Keyboard Maestro already has a leg up by allowing system-level stuff as well. Definitely going to check that out and some of the others as well!

MacOS has a "text replacement" feature you can use from inside the Keyboard System Preference panel. Those are then sync'd across all of your connected devices.

Similar to Raycast I've used Alfred for a long time as a Spotlight alternative - can anyone who's used both recommend one over the other? I had never heard of Raycast until now but it does look interesting.
