I remember working a Grizzco round and getting a nearly pure helmet of quick super jump. Even though I could use other abilities, I still like it.

They should just make super jump speed default the same as one sub. Then make the curve like Splatoon 1 (it was worse). Even casually it feels like a necessity.

There are times where I'm playing with friends, wearing some "i threw something together" gear, and I'll go to super jump out of a bad situation and it feels like I'm sitting there charging up for AN HOUR.

They just shoot me while I'm super jumping and I am just shocked at how much longer the animation is than I expect! Any time I play without some QSJ, it's so shockingly noticeable, and it's hard to say that for nearly any other ability. (I'd imagine IA might have this effect, but... i'm a naut main... and a big swig secondary)

Funny back in Splatoon 1, stealth jump gutted qsj so nobody ever runs both abilities. Now in spt 3, It's pretty much a necessity to run both abilities for most weapons.

And btw, I have my sub of qsj on my stealth jump shoes.

As a player who super jumps everytime after respawning, I see this as an absolute win.

my splatfest gear had 2 subs of qsj and a bunch of qr and it was actually so damn op while i played inkbrush, i could go down and get back in almost instantly it was insane

I hadn't payed much attention to QSJ, I preferred direct combat abilities (Ink economy abilities, special charge up, swim and run speed) I used it for the first time and was flummoxed by how much it changed

I think Nintendo should buff your inkling's base stats to be at least on par with what 1 sub gives you.
