Restaurant (aka 'The Store' to Link) vs from the store (aka 'The Other Store' to Link) is one of the best ongoing series on GMM - them trying to put their credit cards into the bill holder is always so chaotic

For the coffee it's all in the machine. They use Bunn brewers which completely disperse the water into the grounds at a MUCH faster pace. They make home machine versions and it's a game changer tbh. You should also filter your water but I would assume Nicole did that.

Former Starbucks supervisor here, the only difference really IS the water which is filtered around 7 to 10 times, and that is why you cannot taste the minerals in it. There are other small factors like your machine's water dispersion head and descaling maintenance but that's the big difference.

For the wheat bread from CCF, as a former prep and line cook for them, they should technically be the same thing. They get it delivered in a box and just put it in the oven to heat for 10-15 minutes. I presume the ones you buy at a grocery store are just pre-packaged and wrapped with their branding
