I swear every time I watch one (many) of your videos and you “mess up” it makes me come back and watch more of your videos! You normalize woodworking, the process, and show hey you may mess up and your plans may not come out as you first want them but you still go for it! THANK YOU!!! It truly helps me especially as a beginner!

My grandfather always said Never judge a carpenter by his mistakes but by how the carpenter fixes the mistakes.
Great video my wife wanted the same thing on her pantry, turns out we are now building a house around the pantry she wanted. So much for my 300.00 budget.😢

The fact that you show your mistakes and when it doesn’t go perfectly is the reason I love watching your videos. You’re actually realistic. And the final product always turns out so good. Super impressed man

First time watching your videos and I very much appreciated you showing the real REAL moments of frustration, confusion and "I'm done with this for today" before getting back at it and making a functional, beautiful addition to your kitchen.

Thanks for showing the 'oops' moments, it really helps noobs like me see that this stuff really is kind of tricky and mistakes can be fixed as you go. Especially when you're working for free for yourself and not analyzing the plans to death. The final product looks great!

Mr. Build is not only a beast at cabinet building but he's got a great sense of humor. Glad I found your channel.

Absolutely needed this video today. Doing a split home stair remodel, on the home stretch today. I just couldn't get my head right and kept messing up cuts and having to fix my work. Took a breather to watch this video and get my head right. Overcoming all the mistakes is what I needed. Getting off my ass now let's get this done! Thank you!

Kudos to you for moving forward calmly no matter what mishaps occur. So glad you are showing the difficult parts, as this is what helps us know what to expect and how to correct the problems. Thank you!

Stealing power from a lighting source for kitchen appliances is not a good idea. Should have ran a 12/3 dedicated for the new outlets.

I always thought that the best thing about a pantry is being able to see everything you have got.

Love the itemized cost breakdown on the projects! It would be sweet if you also did an itemized time breakdown too -- e.g., X hours for the cabinet shells, Y hours for the drawers, Z hours for the shelves, I'm such a newb I have no idea how many hours a project like this takes.

Way to push through man, setbacks are just another opportunity to get creative and leave you feeling even more satisfied once you're done!

A job well done, but it looks like you had way more functional food storage *before* the remodel, and after it looked like less of a pantry and more like a kitchen with all of those drawers. Also, that tiny space will function a whole lot better if you installed a pocket door.

I really love the notion of having to have a place (with outlets so you don't have to move them) to put all the small appliances you use where they won't clutter up you kitchen countertops.

Good build. Although not part of the original plan, I would have put in a water line/spigot for the coffee and tea machines since you already had the wall opened up due to the unforeseen waterline issue. Not a big deal since it wasn't part of the original design. I know it's not that far to the kitchen to get the water, but I would look for opportunities to kick it up a notch as long as it doesn't cost too much.

Turned out beautifully! Love the tile even though it was such a pain. Awesome job!!

You probably could have used one of those water leaks to make a faucet for water running straight to the coffee pot.

I had the electric outlets mounted under the cabinets themselves (in your case shelves) rather than cutting through the glass backsplash. Worked like a charm and were out of sight.
