I love the idea of cutting back on the depth of the shelves and adding a shelf/organizer to the back of the door!! It seems like it would cut space but it actually adds space!! Awesome!

Shelves on the door is genius, I would put longer screws on the door hinges so the door don't get out of plumb overtime.

I love back-of-door storage, especially in a deep space. It creates two “fr”onts, and then the stuff in the deep back is actually closer to the front of the shelf.

How did you attach the horizontal 1x4” on the door? I don’t see screw holes on the outside or under supports. Thanks!

The door storage is so good. I feel like the depth of pantries is wasted space. So having storage on the door is like doubling the front space.
