Bob is the perfect example of when people say: "We never stop learning"...even with all his experience he can still recognize when he learns something from a younger person...respect for that Bob!

Aww heck yeah! Said it before, I'll say it again. I like this kid and absolutely love that you guys keep bringing him back! He obviously knows his stuff, yet still humble. Perfect combination for a teacher!

Hjalmar, I love watching your videos because you always stop to explain what your going to do, and particularly what you don’t want to and why. You make a terrific instructor.

I have been welding since 68 and still learning, a lot harder doing field welds in a chemical plant, specially confined places, very restricted places, lot of fun, keep on practicing, try walking the cup from bottom up is even more fun, thank you for sharing, by the way I still welding and have a regular job at 70 👍

Great video, I only weld as a hobby here and there, but your channels are my primary reference when I need a tutorial. The collaborations are great and show folks that there are different perspectives and ways to do the job correctly.

Great to see the master learning from a younger master! 👍

Best way I learned to check for adequate purge was with a lighter, if you have one. If there’s still oxygen in the pipe the flame will stay lit, if the purge is full it will blow argon on to the flame and extinguish the flame
