Hatching My Pet Duck, Wrinkle 🦢

This is how Wrinkle the Duck was born

It’s almost her 2nd birthday and I’m beginning to reflect on that day she entered my life.

It’s been a long and twisty journey so far,
But it was worth every moment.

So for my love, Wrinkle the Duck
As an early 2nd birthday gift,
Today, I have written a poem:

Despite the ups and downs
We were together
The whole way through

I wouldnt trade
For anything
these times ive spent with you

I love you, Wrinkle

Wrinkle the Duck was next door for about a month here in central Florida...his owner...red shoes and all... was here with Wrinkle, and their white van across the street. We had the pleasure of watching them out in the yard every day... til they left one day. Hoping they come back again, as I get a kick out of watching those two. So funny watching how this duck is so attached to his human.

Hatching a duck is the most rewarding thing I've ever done. When I met my Wobbles peeping at me through the shell, I felt a deeper love than any other pet I've ever had. 💜
