Pet Ducks - expectation vs reality

Baby wrinkle was so cute,
Adult wrinkle is even cuter!
I love it when she bites my toes,
Almost as much as she likes biting them!

I can relate to this because we have a duck and for some reason it want to eat my toes

For a few years straight, my [single] mom would buy my sister and I a duckling for Easter, we would care for them until they got too large, then we would donate the 2 of them to a beautiful farm [who my mom had arranged prior to buying us ducklings and were able to grow old there]. It was nice as we were able to visit them any time. What sweet people they were too 💜

Ducks are not easy to care for as others think. They need a certain amount of ducks to keep each other happy and conpany. Even if your there with them, they absolutely need other ducky friends. They need lots of care and love!

Duck bites are adorable and not so painful. Specially when youre wearing atleast 1 layer of cloth

We never pet duck but the society where I lived 8 years ago had ducks .. they were very nice to me letting me pet them calmly I was small at that time ..but they were agressive towards adults as they see adults as dangerous for their kids ..

I had ducks and they did not attack and were very friendly especially the white one who loved to cuddle.

That is very true. Oscar, my muscovy duck was a sweetheart when he was a duckling. Then came teenager years and I ran around the house cause he chase me and bit my toes and hands. He thought he was human and didn't know how to get women. But he was an amazing duck. I'm unsure where he's at. Cause of reasons I let my neighbor take him and they took such good care of him then he went missing. If I could go back time, I'd wanna raise my duckling all over again.

Relatable my duck is always like that also i searched in on Google it mean's that the duck is thanking you for feeding and letting them bite you for short that is how duck's show affection

I had a Pekin and the do that to show dominance, mate, show love, try to eat them, or just because they think you are playing.
