Honestly, when I heard this was a really young guy talking I was expecting to just click straight off the video. But apart from the effects, this video is well put together and is quite informative. A few times you stumbled but a most of what you said was correct. Well done man, hopefully you'll grow up to become a right tech-head. :)

What program do you use to edit your videos?

What editing software were you using? the editing reminds me of a school project.

Thank you for making this my fellow youtuber!! It is tough to convince people that celeron is great for non-demanding steam games especially CS GO.

If I pair this with a gtx 1070 (which is my plan) can I get 60+ fps at 1440p at ultra? I kinda doubt it but idk

Pentium g3258 would be way more recommended than a celeron of any type. I have a GTX 660 ( Yes its old, but it works) and a g3258 and all my games run fine at 1080p. Give the g3258 a clock speed boost and it will be a real bang for the buck. Celerons are not at all meant for gaming. As Intel themselves said, Celerons are for the most basic computing needs.

good pc build but instead i think the A8 series apu's are now more powerful and cheap as well just you need to give a OC to the ram

I had Just Cause 2 on a laptop with Intel Celeron, and I should say, it is a bit decent if it's on low settings.

Yeah but what about things like Minecraft? None of those games give a shit about CPU. While its true you can run most games, I would be curious to find out how it runs things like minecraft.

I was wondering... that rig should be able to do black ops 2 ultra no problem, why low only 65 fps ?

On ebay you can get a $40/£30 fast 2.6ghz, low-energy, AMD 4-core 910e cpu. (There is also the very slightly slower 610e which is virtually identical but has no level 3 cache.) They'll do everything quickly except long 1080p video encoding. They even play modern games at 720p or 1080p. Get an AM3/AM3+ motherboard for them and DDR3-1333 MHz.

They can play Battlefield 1 at 1080p, Far Cry 4 at 900p, GTA 5 at 720p, CSGO at 720p.

They run at a similar speed to the Athlon 620, which has youtube gaming videos made of it.

I use the 610e with a 2015 64-bit Linux operating system, comparable to Windows 10 in size. With all my software running at the same time like Opera & Firefox browsers, Libreoffice suite, GIMP photo editor it uses 12% on all four cores. When viewing 360p YouTube videos it rises to 35% on all cores, the same as viewing 1080p video on my media player. For 1080p YouTube it uses 50%.

There is also the cheaper 400e which is a low-energy 3-core.

I've also noticed that with desktop RAM for AMD it's half the price it is for Intel. Traditionally budget motherboards for AMD tended to be cheaper than those for Intel.

If you get 8Gb of RAM get it in one module rather than 2x4Gb. Then it's easier and cheaper to add another 8Gb (or maybe even 4Gb) later when prices will be cheaper.

The processors work with Windows 10, unlike older Intel ones. Windows 7 support ends Jan 2020.

Overclock the CPU
