Gov. Gavin Newsom has vetoed a bill that would have allowed undocumented immigrants to apply for first-time homebuyer assistance through the California Dream for All program. The governor has until Sept. 30 to either sign or veto the 991 bills that reached his desk. In a Friday news release, Assembly Bill 1840 was the only proposal that Newsom shut down.
