This is so ridiculous. Watch the full coversation, it's two 6ft5 guys annoyed that KD is 6'10 and trying to compare a hypothetical 6'7 version of KD to what Melo actually is.. Give KD the rock and you have a better chance of getting the ball in the hoop than Melo. No one cares how.

People seem to underrate KD's scoring repertoire because of how easy he makes it look. Melo had decent coverage at 6'8, so he had to play bully ball to make things happen. But he also ultimately had bad shot IQ due to his ego, and the efficiency dips speak to that. KD could give you EVERYTHING your favorite scorer can do, but make it look as simple as possible because of his universal mismatch at near 7ft. Plus he's an overall better shooter, gave you elite production in less shots, and did so without icing out the rest of the team. Just because eye test makes you respect the effort Melo puts forth scoring, doesn't make it better. KD>>>Melo.

T-Mac can score on all levels. He was Melo and KD before they were ever a thing. T-Mac made Kobe touch earth on a post spin. T-Mac could score over his left shoulder or right shoulder with an opposite leg kick. T-Mac was cold blooded before his back injuries. We gotta show him his respect and give him his flowers.
