This is a great race, but to put things in perspective, the great MARY DECKER ran 2:01.8h for 800 meters in High School and on a dirt track, way back in 1974. Over 45 years later, and no one woman in the history of NCAA D3 competition has ever beaten her high school time???

800 meters is one of the most difficult distances for me. You should give all your best from the first meters, not slowing down, and even picking them up at the end ... I did not have enough strength at the end of the race
