Something I calculated, the Al-Aqda mosque in Jerusalem began to be built in 688 A.D, in Revelation it is written :

Revelation 11:2
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

42 months = 1260 days
688+1260=1948

In 1948 Israel became a state again as it was in the time of Jesus.

I'm not saying this is the correct interpretation but it's just something interested I found when calculating the book of revelation.

Also the false prophet in Revelation really seems like Muhammed.
