Thanks to the commenters here I will agree that a warm water soak and plenty of shaking was a 180 degree shift in my successful use of this.

The can had been in my 65 degree basement for a number of days, even after plenty of shaking it was coming out in globs and I couldn’t get the nozzle to stop spraying unless I turned it upside down to clear out.

A warm/hot water soak for a couple minutes was a game changer - I even went back over some spots I thought needed a little more.

This was super helpful. I failed using the first bottle, but I got a second bottle and watched this video first. Worked perfectly!

You need to Shake shake shake. And Soak can in fairly warm Water And Shake shake More. Even during use.

Just jab repeatedly the brush into the smooth area with a good amount of paint will create that textured look

I've had good results with this product but you need to use primer AFTER spraying the texture BEFORE painting.

Like a rookie I primed the repair first. Will I still be okay applying the texture over the primed paint ?

You should try EZ Pro texture. I've used both and EZ Pro is a much better product with better results.

This wall texture is absolute crap. It barely trickles out of the bottle and most of it end up on the front of the can. A can that was supposed to cover up to 30ft2, barely made it on a 3ft by 2 ft repair.

Sadly a bad experience. But still trying.

Not impressed! Applied at proper temp, shaken well for recommended time, and can sprayed what had the consistency of 30% texture and 70% of a oil consistent slime. Spraying at a distance of 30" less than 20% of product even made it to the wall. Let dry and sanded. Perhaps a bad can, but will try another brand.

Stuff is garbage says 90 Sq. Ft. Actually does about 4 Sq. Ft.
