Personally, I prefer that fat uncomfortable grip and shitty trigger of the Glock 19 as opposed to the razor smooth crisp breaking trigger and thin comfortable grip angle of that all steel 1911.

I honestly don't prefer either over each other. Your choice of handgun would depend on what job or setting you'd be in. If you were working in a police department, a glock or sig would be an affordable easy option since there's higher capacity and people tend to miss more shots under stress. If you were doing something such a bodyguard work or bouncer work a 1911 of s&w would be good options due to the fact they have higher stopping power against unarmored targets and make good tools to hit someone with.

I'm more of a Glock guy for EDC but man the first time shooting a 1911 was marvelous

1911 and Glock comes in 22LR, 380, 9mm, 40S&W, 45 acp, 10mm.

For EDC I love both my
glock 21 Gen 5 MOS (45 acp) 13+1 vs My kimber 1911 LW 45 acp has a 8+1 capacity.

glock is like a new corvette stingray, sleek, fast, and modern, a 1911 is like an old corvette, a classic, looks nice, brings back an older era, and sounds sick as hell. Both cars still need maintenance and an oil change now and then but both are great for different reasons; just depends on what you like more.

I like the feeling of a Glock in my hands. But I’ll take the SigM17 trigger pull any day.

A 1911 simply because, I personally find it more comfortable, the weight is nice and my hand is steadier with it, it’s sturdier, a pistol whip will knock someone’s ass out, and I don’t see myself in a self defense situation where I’m gonna need more than 7 rounds, or Atleast more than seven rounds without reloading if your in a situation like that you might as well grab the assult rifle. Also it’s just so much more fun to shoot.

as someone with minimal firearm experience. i'm going to purchase a glock. here's my reasoning: i've played airsoft since i was 16 and through the years of playing i've held and played genuine glock branded pistols ( g19 and a g18c) and a replica 1911. i prefer the way the glock feels in my gorilla sized hands. 1911s the actual grip is too short for my hand
