Russia’s Top Islamic Authority Permits Men to Marry Multiple Women

Russia's top Islamic authority, Mufti Ildar Alyautdinov, has ruled that men can have multiple wives. This is acceptable if a wife cannot have children for health reasons, is past reproductive age, or does not wish to have children.
